Home Darryl Marshall Fund

Darryl Marshall, who was a former Penistone Community Constable and an active member of Round Table, spent his life serving the community and had a tireless enthusiasm for community projects and charity work. His work included setting up many youth development schemes in the Penistone area. Following his sudden death in 2008, the Darryl Marshall Community Fund has been established by Penistone Round Table in recognition of his outstanding contribution to young people.

The fund supports community projects that encourage and/or stimulate young people up to the age of 25 years of age, to make a positive contribution or difference by undertaking a project that will benefit their local community. The project activity must therefore have beneficiaries who live in Penistone or the surrounding area and be broadly led and run by local organisations, groups or individual.
